Pumpkin Tea Bread - cooking recipe

1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter (at room temperature) plus additional for the pan
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg
1 c. honey
1 c. canned pumpkin puree
2 eggs (at room temperature)
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Position rack in center of oven. Generously butter a 9 x 5-inch metal loaf pan and set aside. Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg into a medium bowl or onto a large sheet of waxed paper spread on work surface. Set aside.
