Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    2 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. whipping cream or Cool Whip
    2 egg whites
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries or 1 1/2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
Preparation
    Combine flour, brown sugar, pecans and margarine.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes, stirring often.
    Let cool.
    Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and egg whites; beat at high speed about 20 minutes or until fluffy.
    Fold whipped cream into strawberry mixture.
    Remove 1/3 of crumb mixture from pan.
    Pat remaining crumbs into smooth layer.
    Pour strawberry mixture over crumbs in pan and sprinkle reserved crumbs over top.
    Freeze. Yields 8 to 10 servings.
