Italian Cheese Sticks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. butter
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
few dashes of cayenne
2 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Bring butter and cheese to room temperature.
Beat together the butter and cheese until well blended.
Combine flour, oregano, salt and cayenne; add to cheese mixture, gradually.
Add water; mix until well blended.
Form dough into a ball.
Roll out on floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut into 3 x 3/4-inch strips or cut into shapes with small cookie cutters.
Bake on ungreased baking sheet in 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Serve warm or cold.
Makes about 40.
