Shrimp Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (4 oz.) shrimp, minced
    1/3 c. water chestnuts, minced
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soy sauce
    6 slices stale bread, crusts removed
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Spread on bread.
    Cut diagonally.
    Put about 1 inch oil in frying pan and heat.
    Place bread with filled side down and fry 15 seconds.
    Turn and fry other side until golden brown.
    Drain on absorbent paper.
