Hamburger And Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. fat
    3 medium potatoes, sliced
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. grated cheese (optional)
    2 medium onions, sliced
Preparation
    Season meat with salt, brown in hot fat.
    Arrange alternate layers, onions, potatoes and meat in a 2-quart casserole.
    Pour soup over layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over casserole about 10 minutes before it's done, if desired. Makes 6 servings.
