Soupe 'A Loignon(Onion Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 large onions, thinly sliced
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    fresh ground pepper
    3 c. beef broth
    2 c. white wine
    4 thick slices French bread
    4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    4 Tbsp. grated Swiss cheese
Preparation
    In heavy pot, melt butter.
    Add onions and cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until golden.
    Sprinkle on the flour and stir for a few minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
    Add broth and wine, stirring constantly.
    Bring to a boil.
    Lower the heat and let the soup simmer for 30 minutes, partly covered.
