Buttercream Mints - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. soft butter
1/3 c. white syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
food color of choice (paste type)
flavor of choice (peppermint, orange, etc.)
Preparation

Blend all ingredients with spoon, then hands. Line molds with fine sugar. Press in fondant. If no molds are available, roll into 1 inch or 1/2 inch balls, then flatten with fork or bottom of glass dipped in powdered sugar. May make ahead and freeze.
