Pork Chops With Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
    6 pork chops
    3 Tbsp. oil
    salt and pepper
    6 c. thinly sliced peeled potatoes
    1 medium onion, sliced
    paprika and fresh parsley (optional)
Preparation
    In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken broth; cook and stir until mixture boils. Cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and set aside.
    In a skillet, brown chops in oil. Season more if desired.
    In a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish, layer potatoes and onion. Pour broth mixture over. Place chops on top.
    Cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with parsley and paprika if desired.
