Gourmet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/3 c. onion
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in skins.
    Let cool.
    Peel and shred coarsely. Over low heat, cook onion in butter.
    Add cheese and stir until almost melted. Remove from heat and blend in sour cream, salt and pepper.
    Fold in potatoes.
    Put in greased 2-quart casserole. Dot with butter and bacon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
