Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. sugar

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Drop by teaspoon into hot cooking oil. Cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
Makes 24.
