1 c. butter (soft)
1 egg
1 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. regular oats
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugars, add egg and mix well.
Add remaining ingredients one at a time except pecans.
Mix until combined; stir in pecans.
Form into balls the size of walnuts; place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown; do not overcook. Allow to cool a few minutes before removing from pan.
Yield: 6 dozen.
