Pork Chop And Rice Casserole (Or Chicken) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 pork chops (3/4-inch thick) or 6 pieces chicken
enough flour to dredge
1 chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 cans tomatoes
1 c. uncooked rice
1 c. onion, chopped
salt and pepper
Preparation

Dredge meat in flour.
Cook in a little shortening until brown. Put in 2-quart or larger baking dish.
Brown pepper, celery and onion.
Put in dish with meat.
Add rice on top, then tomatoes. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until tender, about 45 minutes.
Might have to add 1/2 cup water when gets dry.
