Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 unbaked (9-inch) pie crust (deep dish)
8 oz. natural Swiss cheese, chilled
8 slices cooked bacon
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. chives or parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
nutmeg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. Warm pie crust in oven about 10 minutes while the oven heats.
Shred cheese and place in mixing bowl. Crumble bacon into bits and add to bowl.
Whip eggs with fork and add to mixture.
Add milk, chives, salt and pepper to cheese mixture.
Stir to mix thoroughly.
Pour into crust.
Sprinkle surface with nutmeg.
Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes.
Let cool 10 minutes before serving. Makes one (9-inch) pie.
