Lemon Chess Pie(A Dessert Of Early Virginia) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 stick butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. white cornmeal, sifted
Preparation
    Beat the eggs with a fork or wire whisk and gradually add the sugar.
    Add the lemon juice and rind; mix well.
    Slowly add all ingredients until completely blended.
    Pour into an 8-inch pie shell and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until brown or until a knife inserted into the filling comes out clean.
