Green Beans And Ground Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. fat
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 lb. green beans or 1 qt. can
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Brown onion and garlic lightly in fat. Add beef and cook stirring with fork 3 minutes.
    Add soy sauce and 3 cups of water. Heat to boiling.
    Add beans and cook 10 minutes.
    Thicken with cornstarch blended with a little water.
    Cook slowly 10 minutes longer, stirring often.
    Serve on
    hot rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
