Butter Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco or butter
1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream Crisco and 1/2 cup of the sugar.
Stir in flour, salt, vanilla and nuts.
Mix well.
Make into 1-inch balls.
Place on cookie sheet, which has been rubbed with Crisco.
Bake in oven, 375\u00b0, for 12 to 15 minutes.
Roll in sifted confectioners sugar immediately after baking.
Cookies may be re-rolled in sugar after cooling, if desired.
