Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

prepared graham crust pie shell
1 qt. strawberries, washed and hulled
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. white syrup
1 c. water
pinch of salt
2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
2 drops red food coloring

Preparation

Put
strawberries
in
pie
shell. Cook until clear the sugar, cornstarch, syrup, water and salt.\tCool slightly, then add
jello and
food\tcoloring.
Pour over berries. Chill and serve with whipped topping.
