Quick Carrot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. oil
    3 eggs
    15 oz. jar (1 2/3 c.) applesauce
    1 pkg. Pillsbury carrot and spice cake mix
    1 c. raisins
    1 can cream cheese frosting
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 15 x 10-inch pan (jelly roll pan) or two 8 or 9-inch square pans.
    In a large bowl, blend oil, eggs and applesauce 1 minute on low speed.
    Add cake mix; blend until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Stir in raisins. Pour into prepared pan; spread evenly. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes. Cool completely.
    Frost with cream cheese frosting. Sprinkle with nuts.
    Makes 36 bars.
