Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans cream of celery or cream of mushroom soup
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
    3 to 4 c. frozen Southern-style hash browns or potatoes O'Brien
    3/4 to 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. In a saucepan, over medium heat, cook onion until tender.
    Stir in soup and cream cheese cubes.
    Cook, stirring constantly until smooth and hot.
