Autumn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3 or 4 thinly sliced carrots
    4 large diced potatoes
    1 small onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. chives
    6 c. water
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion.
    Combine all other ingredients in large pan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Let simmer for 45 minutes to an hour.
