Chocolate Sauerkraut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3 eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    well rinsed, chopped sauerkraut
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and lightly flour two 8-inch layer pans.
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add vanilla.
    Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture alternating with water.
    Stir in sauerkraut.
    Bake in preheated pans at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
    Frost with your favorite icing.
