Oven Steamed Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raw rice
    dash of pepper
    3 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. sliced green onion
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In 2-quart ungreased casserole dish with a tight fitting lid, mix rice, salt and pepper.
    Dot with butter.
    Pour boiling water over rice.
    Stir to melt butter. Bake, covered, 45 minutes (do not lift lid).
    Add green onions. Mix lightly.
    To serve, fluff up rice lightly with fork.
    Serves 6.
