Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. (1 large can) tomatoes
    1/2 c. rice (not instant)
    1 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in oil.
    Add ground beef.
    Cook until browned.
    Add tomatoes, rice and chili powder.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, covered, in casserole and 15 minutes, uncovered.
