Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 large egg, beaten
    3/4 c. green chilies
    1 c. (4 oz.) grated Cheddar
    1 c. corn
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
    Mix together first 5 ingredients.
    Set aside.
    Combine milk, sour cream, vegetable oil, egg, chilies, cheese and corn.
    Stir into dry ingredients.
    Spoon into prepared pan and bake 30 minutes. Serve warm.
    Serves 6.
