3 c. sugar
1 lb. butter or margarine
6 eggs
4 c. plain flour
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Combine sugar, butter and buttermilk.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs.
Beat.
Add flour, then almond flavoring.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
