Apricot Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. finely cut dried apricots
    1 jar junior-size baby food apricots
    2 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. coconut flavoring
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven
    to 325\u00b0.\tSoak dried apricots in the baby food apricots while you assemble other ingredients and grease a 10-inch tube
    pan,
    lining the bottom with wax paper cut to fit.
    Mix all
    at once the sifted flour, sugar, eggs, oil and flavoring, beating
    until
    smooth.
    Add
    apricots and pecans, mixing well. Bake
    about 1 hour or until light brown and firm to touch.\tCool in pan before removing.
