Boston Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rye flour or all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/8 c. molasses
    1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
    shortening
    raisins and/or nuts (optional)
Preparation
    You will need a 1 or 1 1/2-quart mold or 3 soup cans.
