St. John Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    cinnamon and sugar mixture
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 large bananas
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream
    butter
    and
    sugar.
    Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in\tsifted dry ingredients.
    Beat in mashed bananas.
    Add nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan.
    Bake at\t350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    While cake is still warm, pour melted butter
    over top and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Makes 1 loaf.
