Grandma'S Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 tsp. almond extract
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. ground pecans
Preparation
    Cream together all but flour and nuts.
    Mix in flour and nuts. Form into logs about 1 1/2-inches in diamater; wrap in wax paper and freeze.
    Slice 1/4-inch thick.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 7 to 10 minutes.
    Watch color carefully, after 7 minutes they go from white to burned.
    Remove from cookie sheet immediately.
