Choco-Scotch Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. German chocolate
    1 c. butterscotch baking bits
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and butterscotch bits over hot water or in microwave.
    Cool.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to egg mixture and cooled chocolate mixture and stir well.
    Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Cool on rack.
    Remove from pan.
    Dust with powdered sugar or glaze, if desired.
