Cinnamon Twist - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup sour cream
    3 tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 dry yeast- let rise in 1/2 cup warm water for 15 minutes
    1 large egg
    2 tbsp. shortening
    3 cups flour
Preparation
    Mix and put on a board and roll to an oblong shape.
    Melt butter and spread over dough.
    Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over half of the dough.
    Fold over other half and pat thin.
    Cut into 1/2 inch strips and twist. Let rise 1 hour and bake in 375 degrees till light brown, This makes 24 twist.
    May be frosted with powdered sugar frosting.
