The "Day After" Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh lemon juice
    2 c. fresh orange juice
    1 c. white Curacao
    4 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained
    2 (750 ml.) bottles brandy
    2 (750 ml.) bottles champagne, chilled
Preparation
    In a large bowl, stir together the juices, the Curacao, the sugar and the cherries and let the mixture stand, covered and chilled, overnight.
    Stir in the brandy and champagne; serve over ice.
    Makes about 18 cups.
