Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can pear halves
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can peach halves
    1 small can pineapple tidbits
    1 small can apricot halves
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    4 tsp. curry powder
Preparation
    The day before serving, drain and dry fruits on paper towels. Arrange fruit on shallow \"bake and serve\" dish.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar.
    Melt butter and add curry powder.
    Pour over fruit. Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
    Refrigerate and reheat until bubbly hot when ready to serve.
    Cooking the casserole one day early allows curry flavor to penetrate fruits for best flavor.
    Serves 12.
