April'S Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
    1 (24 oz.) can spicy vegetable juice cocktail
    1 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
    4 celery stalks, sliced
    4 carrots, peeled and sliced
    2 c. water
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, brown meat and drain well.
    Return meat to saucepan.
    Add onion, garlic and thyme.
    Stir in vegetable juice, bouillon and water.
    Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cover; simmer 1 hour.
    Stir in potatoes, celery and carrots.
    Cover; simmer 30 minutes more.
