Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. water
4 c. pecans (halves)
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in deep Dutch oven pan. Cook until soft. (Boil at 232\u00b0.) Add pecans and stir until coated. Spread and separate with fork; cool completely. Store in tin box.
