Pizzacato Pizza Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. sweet Italian sausage
1 lb. shell macaroni
2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans tomato puree
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 (8 oz.) jar mushroom pieces (optional)
1 lb. grated Mozzarella
Preparation

Prepare macaroni according to package directions.
Drain and set aside.
Take sausage out of casing and crumble.
Brown and drain off grease.
Stir in tomato puree, sauce, water, mushrooms and seasonings.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Add cooked macaroni and stir well.
Put 1/3 of meat and macaroni mixture into a greased 3-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with 1/3 Mozzarella cheese.
Repeat with remaining 2/3.
Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serves 8 to 10.
