Pasta Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1 lb. noodles or fettuccini (cooked as directed on pkg.)
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese or more
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat butter and cream.
    Do not boil.
    Mound pasta in warm buttered bowl and pour on cream; sprinkle generously with cheese and toss thoroughly but lightly.
    Season to taste.
