Applesauce Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry or raspberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. applesauce
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries or raspberries
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 c. sour cream or Cool Whip
Preparation
    Add cup of boiling water to package of jello.
    Mix until dissolved.
    Add package of frozen berries; stir until thawed.
    Add the applesauce and stir well.
    Pour into a 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Chill in refrigerator until set.
    For the topping, fold in 1 cup of marshmallows into 1 cup of sour cream or Cool Whip and spread over the set jello.
