Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    36 large tomatoes
    6 medium onions
    6 green hot peppers
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    4 Tbsp. coarse salt
Preparation
    Peel and cut tomatoes in 8 pieces.
    Put onions and peppers through grinder.
    Put all ingredients in large pot and cook until thick.
    Makes about 8 pints.
