Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. corn syrup
    4 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O (dry)
Preparation
    Wash and hull berries; set aside.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and Jell-O.
    Add water and syrup.
    Cook over medium until thickened. Mixture won't be real thick.
    Cool.
    When cool, pour over berries and toss lightly.
    Pour into baked 9-inch pie shell.
    Refrigerate until set, about 3 or 4 hours.
    Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
    Serves 6.
