Berniece Thurn'S Pancake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, separated
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff; set aside.
    Mix together yolks and the rest of ingredients; fold in egg whites.
    Cook on hot griddle or heavy frying pan until bubbly on top; turn once.
    Cook until golden brown.
    Serve with hot syrup and butter.
