Chocolate Crinkles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    4 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. milk
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Melt half of shortening and add cocoa.
    Set aside.
    Cream the rest of the shortening, sugar and vanilla.
    Beat in eggs, then cocoa mixture.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
    Chill 30 minutes.
    Drop by spoonful into powdered sugar and roll.
    Place on greased cookie sheets and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Yield: 4 dozen cookies.
