*Sweet And Sour Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, sliced diagonally
    1 medium green pepper, cut in 1-inch squares
    1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Cook carrots in slightly salted water for 15 minutes.
    Add pepper and cook for 3 minutes more; drain.
    Drain pineapple and save juice.
    Add water to juice to make 1/3 cup.
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, liquid, vinegar and soy sauce.
    Cook and stir until bubbly.
    Add vegetables and pineapple.
    Heat through. Serves 6.
