German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. potatoes
    3/4 c. onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    3/4 c. water
    6 slices bacon
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with skins on.
    Fry bacon until crisp; drain. Cook and stir onion in bacon drippings until tender and gold. Stir in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.
    Cook over low heat.
    Stir until bubbly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in water and vinegar.
    Heat to boil; stir constantly.
    Boil and stir 1 minute. Crumble bacon.
    Dice potatoes.
    Carefully stir bacon and potatoes in hot mixture.
    Heat through.
    Stir to coat potatoes.
