Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine (at room temperature)
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix together cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
In a medium bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla until blended.
Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder or salt over sugar mixture.
Stir with wooden spoon to make a stiff dough.
Shape dough into walnut-size balls.
Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture to coat.
Place balls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Cool on wire racks.
