Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices crispy fried bacon, crumbled
    1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    1/3 c. minced onion
    4 beaten eggs
    2 c. whipping cream or half and half
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
    1/4 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in unbaked 9-inch pie shell. In a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
    Pour over the bacon and cheese mixture.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Reduce temperature to 300\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean.
    Let stand 10 minutes; cut into wedges and serve.
