Shipwreck Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3 medium carrots, sliced
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 c. cubed peeled potatoes
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen green beans, thawed
    1/4 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1/2 to 1 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 c. minced fresh parsley
    1 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Preparation
    In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion over medium heat. Drain fat.
    In a 3-quart casserole, combine beef mixture with all remaining ingredients.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 2 hours or until rice and potatoes are tender.
