Sweet Potato Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. pecans
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. mashed cooked sweet potatoes
1/2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. shortening, melted
6 pecan halves
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 4 1/2 x 6 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Mix flour and sugar.
Stir in pecans.
Blend eggs, potatoes, milk and shortening.
Add liquid mixture to flour mixture.
Stir until blended.
Pour into pan.
Press pecan halves in top of batter. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
