Beer-Battered Bass - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. pancake mix
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3/4 c. warm beer
    6 fish fillets
    oil (for deep frying)
Preparation
    Combine pancake mix, flour, baking powder and salt in bowl. Add egg and beer; mix until smooth.
    Dip fish in batter, coating well.
    Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown; drain.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
