Cleveland Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground sirloin
    1 green pepper
    1 onion
    1 stalk celery
    2 garlic cloves
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    chili powder to taste
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 cans chili beans
    1 large can stewed tomatoes
    instant potatoes (optional)
Preparation
    Saute onion, garlic, green pepper, celery, salt and pepper in butter.
    When cooked, remove from pan into bowl.
    Brown meat. Drain fat.
    Add bowl of sauteed items to browned meat.
    Add tomatoes, chili beans and spices.
    Simmer on low for 1 hour. Serve over mashed potatoes (optional).
